The order will be processed within 1 working day of the purchase.
- Shipping
Orders paid by 10:00 am on a working day are shipped the same day; all other orders ship on the next working day.
Express shipping in Italy: €5.99 (2-4 working days), free for orders of €30.00 or more.
Delivery times depend on the product: 2-4 working days for items in stock, about 15-25 working days for made-to-order items or items from foreign suppliers, as shown on the product page.
For shipments abroad, the costs and delivery times shown at checkout apply. We only ship to the countries that can be selected at checkout.
Delivery times are indicative and may vary due to temporary courier disruptions or geopolitical events.
PG Service cannot be held responsible for delays caused by strikes, adverse weather, customs delays or socio-political events beyond its control.
Customs fees, duties, import taxes, clearance charges in the destination country and similar costs are always paid by the recipient.
- Returns
Items can be returned within 14 days of receipt. You can start a return from the orders section of your account (click here).
Return shipping costs depend on the reason: they are paid by the customer for a change of mind, and by PG Service in case of our error or a defective product.
Refunds are processed within 48 hours of receiving and checking the return, using the original payment method. The credit then takes about 5-7 working days to appear, depending on your bank.
The refund covers the full amount paid by the buyer, excluding shipping costs.
No refund will be issued for products received damaged, worn or missing internal or external parts or packaging, where applicable. We will provide proof of the product's condition on receipt by contacting you directly.
We always recommend using a tracked shipping method for returns: under no circumstances will we be held responsible if the product is lost.

What is the Purpose of the Steam Tap?
In manual espresso coffee machines, the steam outlet valve acts as a tap that diverts pressure from the boiler to the external spout (pannarello). By turning the knob, an internal shaft retracts or advances, allowing pressurized steam to escape. It is a mechanical component subject to wear as it must handle high temperatures and steam pressure.
Fault Symptoms - Q&A
QUESTION: No steam or hot water is coming from the coffee machine, why?
ANSWER: If the entire system heats correctly and turning the tap knob does not produce anything, the problem may be caused by limescale buildup or a faulty tap. Before replacing it, try performing a thorough cleaning using the original DeLonghi descaler, which is available in our shop.
QUESTION: How can I dispense hot water instead of steam?
ANSWER: Usually, there is an option to dispense steam; selecting it causes the coffee machine to heat more than necessary and turns the water into steam. If you instead keep the selector in the heating position for making coffee and turn the knob to dispense steam, you will see hot water ready for preparing tea and infusions.
Installation Instructions
Installing this spare part requires a fair amount of manual skill. Before starting, ensure that the machine is turned off, unplugged, and completely cool to avoid burns. Remove the movable parts (lid, tank, drip tray, etc.), the outer cover, and the steam knob. Once the top cap is removed, you will immediately see the tap connected to the boiler; simply remove the clip holding it in place and take it out.
